Ingredients

2 tbsp butter or margarine
2 tbsp flour
dash pepper
½ tsp salt
dash paprika
1 cup milk
*For thick sauce, increase butter and flour to ½ cup each
*For thin sauce, degrease butter and flour to 1 tbsp each

Directions

Melt butter in pot over low heat.
Add all ingredients except milk and heat until thick.
Slow add milk, stirring constantly until smooth and thick
