Chicken & Dressing

• Start with a large, fat hen - boil until falling off bone. Strain broth reserving both chicken and broth
• 1 large pan cornbread
• 5 slices of white bread (fresh or dried)
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup onion, chopped
• 1 cup celery, chopped
• 2 heaping tablespoons of sage
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 stick of butter
• Enough chicken broth so that the mixture is very soupy
• Chicken, cut-up into bite size pieces
