Directions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. Into large bowl, measure all ingredients.
- With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well mixed, scraping bowl with rubber spatula.
- Increase speed to high; beat 2 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl.
- Pour batter into pans.
- Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
- Cool in pan on rack for 5 minutes.
- Then, cool completely on rack.
- Fill and frost as desired.
